On 6 December in Sofia was held the conference “20 Years Human Resources Development Center “Erasmus +” Changing Life, Opening Minds”. The event was organised by the Human Resource Development Center within the framework of the National Erasmus + Agency and the European Solidarity Corps Program on the committee. The event was opened by Maria Gabriel – Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth. Among the official guests were also Krasimir Valchev, Minister of Education and Science, Krasen Kralev, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Petyo Kanev, Executive Director of the Center for Human Resources Development.
During the forum, the activities and successes achieved in the field of European education and training programs in Bulgaria have been presented. Afterwards a panel discussion was moderated by Monika Panayotova, Minister-in-Office of the Bulgarian Presidency at the EU 2018 meeting, and a participant observer leader. It was a great pleasure for us that New Bulgarian University was awarded for the overall quality performance of the e-Leadership Trainer Accelerator project.
The project is the result of the work of six organizations – New Bulgarian University, Digital National Alliance, ESI CEE, Gruppo Pragma, ISTUD, Algebra, MUAS. The strategic partnership aims to create e-Leadership Trainer Accelerator (acronym eLead Speed) to upskill educators to improve their ability to exploit innovative teaching methods and design e-leadership curricula based on digital learning materials and tools, including OERs, collaborative online learning and the e-CF. eLead Speed will apply the e-leadership concept itself to speed up the spread of innovative educational practices on e-leadership in the era of the e-leaders – the digital era.
